RunMark's AI features
RunMark has two AI-powered features, both built on Google's Gemini AI:
AI Order Entry — Paste raw text (a customer email, PO, or verbal note) and the AI extracts structured orders for your review. You approve before anything is created. Learn more →
Production Assistant — A chat widget in the dashboard that answers questions about your production data and answers how-to questions about using RunMark. It's the sparkle icon in the bottom-right of any dashboard page. Learn more →
How the AI uses your data
The Production Assistant has access to your real Firestore data — your actual lines, orders, schedule blocks, and SKUs. It answers with specific numbers from your operation, not generic estimates. If you ask "which orders are at risk?", it checks your actual pending orders and due dates.
The AI does not make up data. If it doesn't have the information needed to answer, it says so.
Privacy and data use
Your production data is sent to Google's Vertex AI (Gemini) to generate responses. Data is used only to answer your question and is not used to train AI models. No data is stored by the AI provider beyond the duration of the request.

Limits reset at midnight. These limits are generous for normal usage and exist to prevent runaway API costs. If you're hitting them regularly, contact support.
